About The Project

The aim of this project is to create a mobile app that helps with displaying NASA’s Astronomy picture of the day

Basic features of this app are –

Allow users to search for the picture for a date of their choice
Allow users to create/manage a list of “favorite” listings
Display date, explanation, Title and the image / video of the day
App has offline capabilities where last updated information is displayed in case of network unavailability.
Dark mode support
App should handle different screen sizes, orientations

App uses NASA’s open APIs ( https://api.nasa.gov/ ) and in particular, the APOD ( Astronomy picture of the day ) resource.

How to Build

This is an iOS App, so it needs XCODE to run this project
