doppler-xattr-util

A small command line tool to help with testing compatiability with Doppler’s integrations with metadata editors.

Usage:

# write the doppler xattr and mark the file as changed
doppler-xattr-util mark-changed <path to file>

# clear the doppler xattr and mark the file as no-changes
doppler-xattr-util clear <path to file>

# test for whether the file is marked as changed or not
doppler-xattr-util is-changed <path to file>

# send a test apple event to an application
doppler-xattr-util send-event <path to application>

Building the CLI:

  1. Download the project zip (or clone this repo)
  2. Run swift build -c release from inside the project
  3. Your built CLI tool is available inside .build/release
